Nine products across six body areas
Waist, knee, wrist, head, hand and foot. Every model is designed to be worn while you keep moving
Three things Tianling publishes
Magnetic products are a category where the source of a number is often unclear. Tianling states what was measured, and where
The body-facing side is always N pole
POLARITY
Every model is built with the north-seeking pole facing the wearer. Mixing polarity between models makes the same product behave differently on different days. You can check polarity at home with a compass — the method is on the technology page.
Field decay, measured and published
MEASURED DECAY
1,500 G at the magnet surface becomes 250 G through one layer of fabric, and 10 G at 5 cm. In other words, how you wear it matters more than the headline number. We publish the drop-off rather than only the peak figure.
Ten Chinese patents
PATENTS
Rotating magnetic heads, N-pole facing structures, wearable formats and more. All ten publication numbers are listed so a third party can verify each one on Google Patents.
What these products are
Stated plainly: Tianling products are not medical devices. They hold no medical device registration or filing in any jurisdiction, and they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. We describe them in three terms only: warmth, fit, and everyday comfort.
In the EU, the UK and the US, a magnetic product marketed with a therapeutic claim is regulated as a medical device or a drug. Tianling does not make that claim and does not seek that classification. That is why this site contains no phrases such as "relieves pain", "heals" or "clinically proven" — not as a disclaimer, but because the products are not built or tested for that purpose.
We draw the line clearly so that nobody buys with the wrong expectation. Please choose on the basis of warmth, fit and comfort, which is what the products are actually designed for.
Field strength by distance (measured)
Tianling figures first published July 2016. Gauss (G) and millitesla (mT); 1 G = 0.1 mT
| Condition | Field strength | In mT | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| At the magnet surface (0 cm) | 1,500 G | 150 mT | Bare skin, or one thin layer between magnet and skin |
| Through one layer of fabric | 250 G | 25 mT | Underwear or a thin base layer — the normal wearing condition |
| 5 cm away | 10 G | 1 mT | Worn over several layers, or sitting loose on the body |
| 25 cm away | 1 G | 0.1 mT | Off the body; any effect is negligible at this distance |
One conclusion follows from this table: a magnetic wearable is defined by how it sits on the body, not by its peak rating. Worn over several layers, you are effectively in row three. Details are on the technology page.
